Hunter Russ is currently serving as a Care Coordinator for NCServes Western with Veterans Services of the Carolinas. Previous to this position, Hunter worked for YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly, a conference center in Western North Carolina. As well as, Doug Herbert’s Put On The B.R.A.K.E.S., a nonprofit that teaches teens defensive driving techniques all across the country. Hunter holds a Bachelors in Human Services with a Minor in Management from Wingate University, as well as a Masters in Nonprofit Administration from Louisiana State University at Shreveport. Her family has numerous people who have served or are currently serving in the military, including her husband. While this is Hunter’s first role working exclusively with the Veteran population, she is proud to be able to serve those who gave their all in such an impactful way.
