Sarah Tait is currently serving as the Care Coordinator for NCServes Western with Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministry (ABCCM). Ms. Tait manages the satellite office of the Coordination Center in Murphy, NC, and was instrumental in the establishment of this office. The Murphy office supports Veterans, Service Members and their families in Cherokee, Clay, Graham, Swain and Macon counties. Previous to this position Sarah served as an accredited Veterans Service Officer for the Cherokee County Veterans Service Office. She also served as a team leader for the Warrior Veterans Outreach non-profit, a Veteran led organization dedicated to serving the military connected community in western North Carolina. Sarah is also a North Carolina Certified Peer Support Specialist (with Veteran stamp) and is trained in Question Persuade Refer (QPR) suicide prevention and Resiliency. In addition, Sarah has served on the Macon County Standown committee, Board Member of Paladin's Gate, Member at Large and Honor Guard for American Legion Post 532. Sarah is a US Navy Veteran that served six years as a Search and Rescue Medical Technician.
