Peer Support Specialist

La-Bresa is currently serving as a Peer Support Specialist for Veteran’s Services of the Carolinas for the PATH program; passionate and dedicated to making a difference in the lives of veterans and civilians in her community of Robeson and surrounding counties.

Having served in the U.S. Army honorably as a Telecommunications Specialist and Supply Specialist she received an Army Commendation Medal for her service. 

La-Bresa held positions with U.S. Air Forces NAF  Management Branch and U.S.Missions in Berlin, Germany. U.S. Naval Hospital Naples, Italy and Homeland Security Washington D.C. before returning to her home state of North Carolina after the death of her U.S. Army spouse. She earned her B.A. in Political Science Pre-Law and her M.A. in Public Administration.

In her free time La-Bresa is a hands on single mom, weight trains, an avid runner, and enjoys the challenge of a Spartan race or adventures with friends.
