Stephanie Simmons is currently serving as a SSVF Shallow Subsidy Case Manager with Veterans Services of the Carolinas in the Charlotte area. Stephanie graduated from Coastal Carolina with a BA in Sociology. After graduating she lived in her home town in South Carolina and worked as a Teen Companion Counselor for three years, before moving to Florida and becoming a Child Protective Investigator for one year. Stephanie is the spouse of an activity duty member (32 years) of the Army Reserves. Being a military spouse has allowed her the opportunity to work with reserve and active duty members of different branches of the military and also working with the SSVF program in Long Beach, CA.
